The Institute of Hispanic Culture of Houston (IHCH), a non-profit organization founded in 1965, is one of the oldest Hispanic organizations in the city of Houston. This year the Institute invites local artists to participate in the selection of annual exhibitions at the IHCH gallery located in the Upper Kirby district, 3315 Sul Ross St., Houston, Texas 77098.


The IHCH meets annually to review the presentations for the current year. This year the selection of the exhibition proposals will be juried by the artist Pablo Bobbio , PhD.


The deadline to submit an application proposal is April 4, 2021.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Artists who produce contemporary art in any medium and who live or work in Houston can present exhibition proposals.
Any existing work must have been completed in the last 3 years to be considered.
Proposals that link with the Hispanic / Latin American culture and that specifically take into account the IHCH exhibition space are encouraged.
Artists whose proposals are selected and who decide to participate are expected to undertake the planning and conceptualization of their exhibition, with the feedback and guidance of the coordinator of IHCH.
