William E. Girón

William E. Girón serves the Fort Worth and Tarrant County communities as Executive Director of Artes de la Rosa – Cultural Center for the Arts, which oversees a national historic landmark – Rose Marine Theater. A long-time community leader and photography artist, William prides his work at Artes on having a supportive professional network to mobilize and engage a more creative community of Latinx/e artists, patrons, and supporters of the arts. Now in his 5th year, William enhances diverse narratives through equitable, inclusive, and accessibility to marginalized, underserved, and under-resourced communities through multidisciplinary cultural artwork programming. A native of Guatemala, William holds Marketing and Entrepreneurship degrees from Texas Wesleyan University and Tarrant County College. As a seasoned marketing/business professional, William maintains a business growth mindset leading emerging and seasoned artists into the next generation of Latino art in Fort Worth.
