About
Garcia holds a Contemporary Dance BA (INBA) and studies in Cultural Management (UDG). Stephanie is a performer, choreographer, performing arts director, cultural manager, producer, Co-founder, and Co-Director of PROArtes México & Punto de Inflexión Dance Company. She has been awarded nine different national and international grants from 2006-2019 and was considered by the press to be one of Mexico’s most prominent dancers in 2010. As an arts advocator, she has facilitated international art exchanges between Mexico and 12 different countries.
Garcia is currently an MFA candidate and Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Modern Dance program at the University of Utah.
