Stephanie Barajas (she/her/ella) is a San Jose-based Mexican actor, photographer, and arts administrator. She is currently one of the City of San Jose’s 2022 Creative License Ambassadors. Raised in Guadalajara, Mexico, her family made the difficult decision to relocate to the Bay Area in 2006. She has a BA in Theatre from the University of Southern California. She is an alumnus of the Multicultural Arts Leadership Institute (MALI), and the current co-chair of the genARTS Silicon Valley Steering Committee. Stephanie is passionate about art, arts advocacy, fashion, fat liberation, and storytelling as a tool for change.
