Arturo Méndez is an award-winning communications expert, project manager, and cultural organizer specialized in harnessing the power of culture and arts to benefit marginalized communities by affecting policy.

In 2019, he worked and organized with different community organizations the Mission District -the Latinx neighborhood of San Francisco-, to pass legislation and declare it a Cultural District. He produced and directed an Internacional Cultural Festival taking 20 artists from SF to Mexico titles La Diáspora Festival, and also curated a photography show for Harvard University.

“When culture shifts, policy follows” is a permanent motivation for his practice.
