Born in 1986 in Guatemala, graduated as a Physical Education teacher, Rene Soto came to Connecticut , U.S. in 2011. He trained with Greenwich Arts Society, and his work was exhibited in many galleries and museums. He founded Latincolors, a bi-lingual Magazine to promote arts/culture and education. He was named Latino of the Year in 2017 by Mayor David Martin in Stamford, CT. In 2018 he opened a Gallery, a platform for immigrant artists. He is a benefactor of Caring with Grace, fighting against childhood cancer; Stepping Stones Museum for children, helping to becoming bilingual, and Senior Center with art classes.
