To support the film Disrupted Borders by Ramón Villa-Hernández. The documentary short supports the journey of a 1st generation Mexican-American female inventor. Wendy uses discarded electronics to innovate a functioning prosthesis, for her best friend, using 3D tools and resources at her community maker-space. The film explores identity, ingenuity, resiliency and the experience of growing up at the border via the perspective of a tech disruptor.
