Nirvania Quesada is a Puerto Rican theatre director and producer. She earned her BA in Drama at the University of Puerto Rico and her MFA in Theatre Directing at East 15 Acting School in the UK. She is an alumnus of The Lincoln Center Directors Lab. After meeting Timothy Douglas as part of a Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation Observership, she worked as Assistant Director of Proof, A Raisin in the Sun, and Gem of the Ocean. With the support of NALAC, Nirvania has just finished the first iteration of the play “Yo era una chica moderna” by César Aira. Nirvania is committed to creating theatre that empowers the Puerto Rican and Latino communities. She lives in San Juan with her cat, Lily.
