Jorge Luis Gamboa VIII is a technologist, cultural anthropologist, and experience producer from San Antonio, with over two decades of diverse production experience across numerous roles and mediums. He values human experience as vital nourishment for the human soul. Following his passion for production, his freelance career work includes design, maintenance and operation of video, sound, lighting production, direction, broadcasting, content creation, projection mapping, special effects, large-scale art installations, education, consulting, and systems/process design.

With a rich career, Jorge Luis has worked for PBS Austin, contributing to renowned productions such as “Austin City Limits TV.” He has been showcased as a two-time Featured Artist at the Luminaria Contemporary Art Festival. He is the founder of AlmaBurn, a regional Burning Man event, and a resident artist at Studio 111. Currently, he holds the position of Tech Manager at the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center. In this role, he oversees technology for various productions and manages the historic Guadalupe Theater. In addition to his extensive career in the arts and production, Jorge owns and operates Cosmo Logic Co, a production agency and is in the process of opening a bar in San Antonio with his father called “Venami” in San Antonio’s Westside.
