Christian Adame has 15 years of diverse museum experience developing in-gallery interpretation, designing and managing public programs, and mobilizing diverse communities through outreach. He has worked at the California State Archives, The California Museum of Women, History, and the Arts, and the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, California. From 2011 to 2018, he worked on exhibitions and programs at Phoenix Art Museum in Arizona. In November 2018, he began his new position as Peggy L. Osher Director of Learning and Interpretation at Portland Museum of Art in Maine. He earned his B.A. in Art History from the University of California, Davis.
