About
The Chicano/a/x Murals of Colorado Project (CMCP) at Emanuel Project is dedicated to preserving the visual legacy of Chicano/a/x and Latino/a/x murals. Through artist-led preservation efforts, oral histories, and public education, we aim to protect and create these artworks as vital expressions of memory and identity. Our mission is to ensure that these murals, along with their histories and the communities that created them, remain valued and visible as part of our cultural heritage for generations to come. Rooted in this legacy, we collaborate with diverse communities to help keep their cultural memories alive and visible.
