Belinda Acosta is the proud daughter of a Mexican Immigrant. Her heritage people are likely Huichol or Huesteca. She is a writer and has published two award-winning novels. She was a media columnist for the Austin Chronicle for 13 years, but is now based in Tempe, Arizona, where she serves as Director of CantoMundo, an organization that cultivates and celebrates Latinx poets and poetry from across Latinidad.
