Arturo Méndez is an award-winning producer and community organizer, focused on Cultural Equity in the Mission District of San Francisco.
He is a founder of Arts.Co.Lab, La Diáspora Festival, and Urban Prophets Illustrated. He has collaborated with Harvard and Cornell University and has curated and produced International Festivals in Mexico and the US.
An advocate for the arts he pushed legislation for the Latino Cultural District, and participated with the Emerging Arts Professionals, NALAC Advocacy Leadership Institute, and Seeding Reciprocity Fellowships with the SFAC.
