About
A graduate of The University of Texas and Intelligence Community Center of Academic Excellence fellow and scholar, where she developed her passion in global perspective, human rights, & cultural narrative. Before attending graduate school, she interned at the Rubin Center of Contemporary Art working with artists such as Mark Bradford, Sean Caulfield, youth artists from El Paso, and C.D. Juarez where she first experienced art as a powerful tool for dialogue and social change. She earned her MLS, with a focus on Cultural Institutions from Simmons College; her research focused on social historical narrative reflected in publicly commissioned art.
