Ashley Perez was born in Kerrville and raised on the Southeast side of San Antonio. She discovered art as a teenager and joined a youth arts after-school program called SAY Sí, which deepened her passion for all things creative. This unique opportunity as a young person led her to earn my BFA in painting at The University of Texas at San Antonio and pursue art professionally ever since. Ashley Perez is now the Director of the Visual Arts Program at SAY Sí, where she uses her practice to mentor the next generation of creative leaders.
