About
3nity, an all-female Latin jazz ensemble, amplifying women’s voices in the music industry. Our journey began in 2015 when a group of women studying at Berklee College of Music struggled to find a space to practice what they were learning.Co-founder Karolina Meireles, in collaboration with Zayra Pola, founded 3nity. Recognizing the underrepresentation of women in music, our mission is to provide a platform for women to nurture their talents, encompassing not just performance but also composition, production, and distribution of their music. Our name, 3nity, reflects our fusion of indigenous, African, and European influences, capturing the essence of our Latina heritage.Since our inception, we have graced stages throughout the New England, opening for renowned acts like “El Gran Combo of Puerto Rico” and performing at venues like the Tito Puente Festival and Celebrity Series. Now, we take our mission to Puerto Rico, breaking barriers and creating opportunities for aspiring talents.
