Viveca Vázquez, co-founder of Pisotón and Taller de Otra Cosa, is a key figure in Puerto Rican experimental dance since the ‘80s. In 2013, she was honored by the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Juan with the exhibition, Conducta, and the publishing of a book, Coreografía del error.

Dancer, choreographer, curator and video artist Merián Soto is the creator of somatic-aesthetic practices, Branch Dancing and Modal Practice. Among her many accolades, Soto is the recipient of a New York Dance & Performance Award BESSIE for sustained achievement (2000), a Greater Philadelphia Dance & Physical Theater Award ROCKY (2008).
