Diverse Arts Spaces (DAS)
DAS supported the presenting or commissioning of work by Latino artists or ensembles in Diverse Arts Spaces organizations.
Facilitating relationships between Latino artists and DAS organizations.
Through the Diverse Arts Spaces program, NALAC facilitated partnerships and deepened relationships between Latino artists and organizations that were part of the Ford Foundation Diverse Arts Spaces initiative program. DAS developed opportunities for the presentation of diverse work while creating cultural equity through an investment in artistic production.
During its five year run, NALAC’s DAS grant program awarded $227,499 to thirty-one partnerships.
