Our Relief Efforts
The National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures (NALAC) recognizes the ongoing, compounding impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on artists and cultural workers as well as communities of color in the United States and Puerto Rico. In the spirit of confianza, we know that mutual trust and support can carve new ways forward. Our Actos de Confianza relief effort in 2021 will expand to support Latinx artists and arts organizations who have been adversely impacted by COVID-19. Learn more in the pages below.
Actos de Confianza
In collaboration with the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and Intercultural Leadership Institute (ILI) partners, Latinx artists, cultural workers and arts organizations facing critical financial emergencies can apply for $2,500 artist grants and $5,000 organization grants.
