Organizes and operates a comprehensive Theatre Arts Program in cooperation with the Technical Director and Dean. Provides high quality instruction so that each student may meet learning outcomes in acting, performance techniques, movement, theatre history, theatre appreciation, and other courses. Directs seasonal productions including one large musical theatre production for the department, collaborating with the music department and with various design staff. Partners with the dean and other college staff on marketing, scheduling, and budgeting of theatre events, recruitment of students, and represents Mt. Hood Community College at off-campus theatre events. Works with the dean and colleagues to improve student learning experiences. Performs other instructional responsibilities as assigned and determined by the dean.
