Economic Justice Culture and Narrative Fellowship
Dear National Association for Latino Arts and Cultures,
The Opportunity Agenda is proud to announce we are now accepting applications for five six-month-long $15,000 fellowships from U.S.-based artists and cultural strategists for our 2022 cohort of Culture & Narrative Fellows with projects focused on Economic Justice.
I’d like to ask you to share the link to the application with your network. We are prioritizing supporting artists and cultural strategists who are BIPOC, LGBTQIA2+, and directly impacted individuals and would appreciate your help in expanding our reach to as many as possible.
The We Can Thrive Together Fellowship is a call for reimagining cultural realities and rewriting dominant narratives around economic justice. We know that creatives have the visionary power necessary to humanize issues in impactful ways, and we want to provide them with the resources they need to hone and spread that vision.
The deadline for applicants will be 11:59pm EST on November 10, 2021. Recipients will be notified by December 8, 2021 and the fellowships will run from January 11, 2022, to June 28, 2022.
At The Opportunity Agenda, a social justice communications lab, we believe narrative and culture change are essential elements of sustainable social change. We have a long-standing history of supporting and connecting diverse artists, activists, and cultural organizers committed to pursuing transformative ideas, solutions, and partnerships for social justice.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to reach out and let me know.
