NALAC Regional Arts Training Workshops:

Providence, RI | October 10-11, 2014

The National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures Regional Arts Training Workshops are convened throughout the nation to assist in strengthening local networks and build the leadership of Latino artists and Latino arts and cultural organizations. Fostering this practice of cultural stewardship will develop and sustain the arts field now and in the future, in ways that inspire and cultivate communities.

The Regional Workshop brings together national arts leaders and the local arts field for comprehensive capacity building opportunities and community dialogue.

Events include panel discussions, workshops, networking, art exhibits, performances and luncheon. Workshop tracks for artists and organizations focus on research, capacity building, strategic planning and business skills for artists.

Regional Arts Training Workshops have been convened in Albuquerque, The Bronx, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, Ohio, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, San Jose, Tucson, and Youngstown.
