Community Engagement Manager, Hancher Auditorium
Hancher Auditorium at The University of Iowa is now accepting applications for the role of Community Engagement Manager. The Community Engagement Manager will actively coordinate and collaborate in a leadership capacity as a member of the Hancher Auditorium Public Engagement program, to plan, organize, manage and implement the full range of Hancher’s community and campus engagement initiatives through collaborative and impactful residencies in partnership with Hancher’s presented artists and projects. Additional duties will include:
• Develop and maintain relationships with a broad representation of university and community collaborators and programmatic partners.
• Identify and develop opportunities of meaningful partnerships across the University of Iowa campus and throughout local and regional communities.
• Identify and recommend artists and projects relative to youth and family programming for inclusion in Hancher’s annual season of presented artists.
• Participate in grant writing and reporting as well as documentation and evaluation of engagement, residency, and education programs.
