Come Celebrate with Me: Honoring Rest for Women of Color
September 26, 2026 | 6:00-7:30PM CT
Community Artists’ Collective
4111 Fannin Street, Suite 100
Houston, TX 77004
Join Women of Color in the Arts (WOCA) as we celebrate the power of rest and the current cohort of grantees of The Sabbatical Fund – a WOCA initiative that provides paid rest to our community so that they can divest from the system of capitalism and prioritize themselves over productivity. Prioritize yourself and come hear about the experiences of these women and the importance of intentional rest. Tap into local resources for your well-being and revel in the power of community care.
Hosted in conjunction with Community Artists’ Collective and their exhibition, The Road to 40: A Retrospective, dedicated to four decades of creativity, resilience and community.
RSVP required. Complimentary light bites and refreshments provided.
