December 1, 2023, San Antonio, TX — The National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures (NALAC) announces the 2024 NALAC Leadership Institute (NLI) open call for applications. The institute is a week-long fellowship that brings non-profit arts administrators and cultural workers together from across the nation for intensive training in leadership and management capacity.

“We are thrilled to welcome our next cohort of NLI fellows to San Antonio and the NALAC network in July. We look forward to creating a space to nurture professional growth and experience impactful fellowship amongst new Latinx leaders in the arts and culture field,” said Alyssa Pineda, NALAC’s Leadership and Convenings Manager.

Faculty scheduled to lead the 2024 NLI program include Dr. Maribel Álvarez (University of Arizona), Evonne Gallardo (Community Partners), Abel López (GALA Hispanic Theatre), Charles Rice-Gonzalez (BAAD! Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance), and Rosalba Rolón (Pregones/PRTT).

Throughout the week-long institute, NLI faculty will guide fellows through learning sessions and workshops to facilitate professional leadership and managerial development.
