Announcing the 2025 NALAC Fund for the Arts: National Arts Partners Grantees

$25,000 grants awarded to 21 Latinx/é arts organizations across the U.S., including Puerto Rico

San Antonio, November 6, 2025 – The National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures (NALAC) is excited to announce the recipients of the 2025 NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA): National Arts Partners grants. The awards, totaling $525,000, will provide unrestricted organizational grants of $25,000 to twenty-one Latinx/é arts organizations across the United States, including Puerto Rico, in eleven disciplines ranging from craft and culinary arts to literary arts and film.

“The 2025 NFA: National Arts Partners grantees reflect the vibrancy of our communities, charting thirteen states and three distinct regions within Puerto Rico while serving varied publics and affinities within Latinidad,” said Cat Rodríguez, NALAC Director of Programs. “We trust that these venerable orgs are best positioned to intimately know and ingeniously meet the specific needs of their respective communities during this critical moment. We’re honored to buttress their work.”

The 2025 NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA): National Arts Partners awards are granted with funds from The Wallace Foundation’s Advancing Well-Being in the Arts initiative, which supports and seeks to learn more about arts organizations rooted in communities of color. The collaborative awards offer unrestricted funding, providing arts organizations with flexible support for operating expenses intended to strengthen the organization’s infrastructure and ability to fulfill its mission, capacity-building initiatives, strategic planning, investment in technical capacity, and staff development, in addition to supporting their programming.

“We are deeply grateful to the Wallace Foundation, as well as our peers within the National Arts Partners cohort, for their investment and collaboration. This partnership strengthens our work as grant makers and positions us to continue building the capacity of our field,” shared Mari Hernandez, NALAC CEO and President.

Now in its 17th year, the NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA) grant program has stood as the premier national grant program exclusively supporting Latinx/é artists, cultural practitioners, and arts organizations based in the U.S., including Puerto Rico. Since its inception, the NALAC Fund for the Arts grant program has awarded over 1,300 grants to the Latinx/é arts and cultures field, reflecting an investment of over $8 million in funding.
