Promoting, connecting, and cultivating Latino arts and cultures
Our programs create opportunities for artists, arts leaders and organizations. NALAC programs provide critical advocacy, funding, networking opportunities, leadership development and professional training for Latino artists and arts organizations in every region of the country.
Born from a common vision.
Founded in 1989, we recognized the necessity of a national advocacy organization for an under-served Latinx arts sector. Research and conversations with our stakeholders affirm that our collective success hinges on empowered, informed and resourced individuals and organizations who are supported as change agents.

We are comprised of talented & accomplished leaders in the national Latinx arts field.
Our grantees and leadership program alumni uplift our communities, build opportunities to renew our diverse identities and imagine ways to move forward in solidarity.
Advocacy and Research are central to our work.
NALAC plays a leadership role as a national advocate for artists and nonprofit arts organizations, not to mention our work providing critical training for cultural workers through our Advocacy Leadership Institute. Our Research Initiatives seek to impact policy by addressing the challenges that Latinx artists and organizations face in terms of access to funding, training, and representation.
