After two years of fully virtual programming, the URTA Auditions & Interviews—known as “The URTAs”—will return as a hybrid event with in-person and live-virtual components.

The URTAs offers the opportunity for candidates interested in graduate training in Acting, Design & Technology, Directing, Stage Management, and Arts Leadership a single day to audition and interview with recruiters from over 50 member and non-member schools from across the country and abroad. The event also includes classes, workshops, and panel discussions on topics of interest in the field to both candidates and recruiters.

In addition to the URTA Auditions, Acting candidates may register to participate in the Guest Auditions — a separate audition where non-URTA member schools recruit for their MFA, MA or Conservatory programs, along with producing companies looking to hire for summer seasons.

URTA offers Candidate Awards that aid with free registration costs to qualified candidates in all discipline areas, including all participants in Sound Design and Arts Leadership. For more Award information, visit urta.com/awards.
