Stefan Benchoam & Jessica Kaire (on behalf of NuMu)

Partner: Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA)

To support NuMu Guatemala/NuMu Los Angeles, a collaboration between NuMu and LACMA focused on introducing the work of two innovative artists to new audiences, whilst expanding NuMu's local and international presence. Stefan Benchoam and Jessica Kaire will build a fiberglass replica of NuMu's egg-shaped museum, which will feature an exhibition by Guatemalan composer Joaquín Orellana and will be toured throughout Guatemala, Mexico and the U.S, and later installed on LACMA's campus for six months. Concurrently, NuMu will produce an exhibition by LA-based artist Carolina Caycedo in Guatemala. This project is part of the exhibition A Universal History of Infamy, opening at LACMA in 2017.
