Chicano Flags at Half Mast

Ricardo Favela 1944-2007

ROYAL CHICANO AIR FORCE --  EL RCAF General Ricardo Favela (Mo) passed away Sunday morning July 15, 2007 of a massive heart attack.  He was visiting with familia in Visalia, California.  Services will take place in his home town of Dinuba, Califas. At this point all details are still in progress.  As soon as the details are determined another email will be sent.  Needless to say everyone is still in shock.

Ricardo was very involved in the Chicano Movement, United Farm Workers struggles and was a founding member of the RCAF.  He will be deeply missed by his wife Clara Cid Favela, his children Magarita, Tina, Manuel, and Rosita and by all the Impudent Young Pilots of Aztlan that were touch by his teaching and service to ensure social justice and self determination for La Raza.  One thing can be said about Ricardo is that he NEVER wavered on his committment to La Raza. Con Todo Respeto. Another Soldier has fallen.
