NALAC Regional Arts Training Workshops are convened throughout the nation to assist in strengthening local networks of Latino artists and Latino arts and cultural organizations and permit active engagement between NALAC and its constituents. The Regional Arts Training Workshop is a two day seminar that includes capacity building and technical assistance seminars, networking opportunities and dialogue. Workshop tracks for artists and organizations focus on research and grant writing, professional development and business skills for artists and strategic planning. NALAC will convene up to three Regional Arts Training Workshops from September to November 2007 and three in 2008. NALAC is accepting proposals to convene Regional Arts Training Workshops in various parts of the countrly. Organizations and/or individuals interested in hosting a regional workshop in their city are invited to submit a proposal. Proposal Guidelines are available online now. Regional Arts Training Workshops have been convened in The Bronx, Portland, San Jose, Los Angeles, Denver, Dallas, New York, Phoenix, Albuquerque, Youngstown, Ohio, Philadelphia, Tucson, Chicago, Miami and Long Beach.
